About Us

A children's choir with a very special mission.

Wells Alive was created and is run by a child who simply wanted to make a difference in her community. Her inspiration goes back to when she was just five years old, when she took part in a group called Bright Lights — singing songs to elderly people and seeing first-hand the joy it brought them. That memory never left her, and Wells Alive is her way of keeping that spark alive.

We are a very small, close-knit choir of around five children — but don't let our size fool you. What we lack in numbers we more than make up for in heart.

We perform a varied repertoire — from timeless folk songs and hymns to cheerful pop — always chosen to resonate with our audiences. Every visit is completely free of charge to the care home and its residents.

But our visits are about much more than the music. The children love to sit and chat, share stories, and spend time with residents — playing games, hearing memories, and simply being together. Those quiet moments of connection mean just as much as any song.
